About the role
- Strategic handling of medium- and high-complexity civil litigation matters;
- Drafting complex procedural documents (complaints, answers, appeals, briefs, written submissions, among others);
- Preparing and presenting written briefs, including to higher courts;
- Representation and monitoring of cases in appellate courts, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), and the Federal Supreme Court (STF);
- Defining litigation strategies, conducting risk analyses, and preparing legal opinions;
- Managing a portfolio of cases across a diverse client base;
- Direct client interaction to align strategies, provide technical clarifications, and give case status updates;
- Monitoring key deadlines and providing technical guidance to more junior attorneys when required.
Requirements
- Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
- Solid experience in strategic civil litigation;
- Proven track record of practice before State Courts of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), and the Federal Supreme Court (STF);
- Excellent legal drafting and technical argumentation skills;
- Analytical profile, well organized, with strong ability to manage multiple matters;
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients.
