About the role
- Conduct negotiations based on positions, taking into account the status and context of the judicial proceeding to calibrate proposals and counterproposals;
- Correctly identify the structural elements of the negotiation (interests, options, legitimacy criteria) and recognize the opposing party negotiator’s profile (competitive, collaborative, etc.);
- Act with increasing autonomy in proposing settlements within your authority;
- Prepare in advance for negotiations, with a minimum review of the case file and an understanding of the case’s sensitive points.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure as applied to negotiation dynamics;
- Emotional intelligence to read profiles and apply tactical empathy;
- Firmness in defending positions and the ability to sustain arguments with clarity and confidence.
