About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI solutions for internal and public-facing applications
- Guide development teams on embedding AI into existing and new applications, including prompt engineering, API integration, and data flow design
- Architect and scale AI platforms to support high-concurrency, low-latency workloads, including peak load planning and autoscaling strategies
- Build and maintain secure, scalable Azure environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure observability, governance, and compliance across AI workloads
- Serve as a technical advisor and mentor to development teams, helping them adopt AI responsibly and effectively
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and enforcement of cloud governance policies in a public-sector environment
Requirements
- Hybrid-skilled AI Platform Architect & Enablement Engineer
- Deep experience in Azure OpenAI and Copilot Studio
- Experience integrating AI into enterprise applications and services, including security configuration
- Experience guiding application teams on AI integration strategies
- Experience with scaling AI workloads, including peak load planning and autoscaling strategies
- Experience migrating, modernizing, or re-platforming workloads in Azure and supporting legacy integration
- Experience designing and implementing reusable infrastructure using Bicep and/or Terraform
- Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Ability to collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams on observability, governance, and compliance
- Strong development background and specialization in AI platform enablement
- Proactive contributor to documentation, knowledge sharing, and enforcement of cloud governance policies
- Experience working in large public-sector environments
