About the role
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing job schedules (Tivoli), dependencies, and configurations
- Provide ongoing support for monitoring and troubleshooting job failures and performance issues
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement changes and enhancements to job schedules
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures for job scheduling and monitoring
- Perform periodic reviews and support audits to ensure compliance with best practices
- Leverage DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation including automated pipelines, monitoring, and operations
- Provide on-call support for critical issues and incidents as needed
- Assist in migrating eForms and WebUpload applications to Angular and Spring Boot technologies (as required)
- Deliverables: documentation of existing job schedules, recommendations for optimization, SOPs, incident reports, training materials
Requirements
- 7+ years recent experience with Tivoli/Control-M or similar workload automation solution
- Implementing and testing new job schedules, ensuring proper documentation (7 Years)
- Proficiency with Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL (7 Years)
- Conducting training sessions for IT staff on best practices and troubleshooting techniques (7 Years)
- Working experience with PowerShell, C and UNIX scripting (7 Years)
- Working experience with version control tools such as GitHub / Azure DevOps (7 Years)
- Prior work experience and knowledge in the TAX technology environment (7 Years)
- Proficiency in Object Orient analysis and design techniques (7 Years)
- Working experience with Windows and Linux servers/Environments (7 Years)
- Experience engineering, consulting and upskilling IT team members on DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation (7 Years)
- Experience establishing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities for platform components (7 Years)
- Provide on-call support for critical issues and incidents as needed
- Junior level developer with prior Tax experience to assist migrating eForms and WebUpload applications to Angular and Spring Boot (mentioned)
