About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain detailed production schedules aligning with customer demands and facility capacity.
- Provide clear communication of operational plans, capacity, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Keep schedule current using automated tools and modify schedules while maintaining status on linkages and dependencies.
- Define and implement schedule configuration management processes, including version control.
- Review schedules for conflicts with KPP/KPIs, focus on customer on-time delivery, identify risks and discuss mitigation with leadership.
- Coordinate with functional area leads to communicate and track daily production schedules and manage schedules for multiple locations as required.
- Collaborate with customer and Serco functional teams to deliver systems and supporting documentation for the NGC2 US Army contract.
Requirements
- An active Secret clearance.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or project management plus 5 years of master scheduling experience.
- Strong analytical skill and attention to detail.
- Proficient in scheduling software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Familiar with Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement initiatives (desired).
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical analysis (desired).
- Experience with Microsoft Project (desired).
