About the role

  • Provide product management support to the Maintenance Systems PMO across the full acquisition lifecycle (modernization, production, sustainment) for F-35 logistics information systems (ALIS, ODIN, PHM).
  • Assist ALIS central point of entry and standard operating units for unclassified and classified F-35 ground-based systems including hardware, software, and peripheral equipment for ground-based Air System management.
  • Assist ODIN activities for developing, demonstrating, product support planning, producing, and fielding the modernized F-35 maintenance and logistics information system.
  • Assist PHM efforts in providing onboard and off-board software to diagnose and life manage the F-35 air vehicle and engine.
  • Improve data quality and integration by evaluating delivery and execution of Sustainment Data Products (SDPs) to identify, prioritize, and fix defects.
  • Facilitate movement of source data to an integrated data environment to transform data.
  • Support acquisition by developing documents, supporting proposal evaluation, and contracting negotiations to capture data quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with F-35 JPO Program Managers, Analysts, customers, national security and allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.
  • Provide onsite support at Wright-Patterson AFB and F-35 JPO (Crystal City, VA) as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in the stated discipline OR an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description.
  • Ability to provide onsite support at the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA a minimum of 2-3 days per week; onsite days may increase up to 5 days per week.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of recent work experience as a product owner.
  • DoD Logistics and Prognostic Health solutions experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methods and frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle and architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement environments and ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining team morale.
  • Strong ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders; translate business needs to software requirements and stories.
  • Demonstrated success managing iterative projects that span multiple quarters or years.
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools, Microsoft Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Mattermost.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
  • Active Secret clearance.
