About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial centrifuges
- Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues
- Provide onsite technical support and customer training
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to customer and company standards
- Communicate job status, parts needs, and recommendations to customers
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Follow up with customers after service to confirm proper operation
- Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend service support
- Travel to customer sites across the Midwest
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-tool experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (reports, email, documentation)
- Ability to travel up to ~75%
- Availability for scheduled weekend and after-hours rotation
- Trade school or technical training (preferred)
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred)
