About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Is web development your thing? We build fast, modern websites and online shops that are technically sound and deliver measurable results.
As a Web Developer at Seokratie Austria you will take the lead from the outset in the conception and implementation of websites for our clients and help grow our Web Development department.
We primarily build new websites with WordPress; e-commerce solutions are implemented with Shopify, Magento or Shopware.
You implement websites for our B2C and B2B clients using WordPress.
You deliver e-commerce solutions using Shopify, Magento or Shopware.
You maintain, optimize and monitor existing websites.
You carry out complete relaunches and prevent ranking losses.
You ensure that websites are secure and load quickly.
You are responsible for technical coordination with our hosting partners.
You work closely with our SEO, SEA and content marketing teams.
You conduct CMS training sessions with our clients.
You deliver webinars (if you want).
You run projects independently and remain in regular contact with our clients.
You implement internal agency web projects and keep an eye on our own websites.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You know WordPress inside out and can draw on at least three years of experience as a WordPress developer.
You have already successfully implemented e-commerce solutions.
You have experience with Google Analytics 4 and other tracking tools and can integrate them into existing websites.
You are familiar with the structure of MySQL databases.
You have solid skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, PHP (WordPress) and optionally jQuery.
You have a strong design sense and basic knowledge of photo and video editing.
You have a good basic understanding of SEO and conversion tracking.
You are experienced in project management.
You have very good German and English language skills.
You think outside the box and bring new ideas for us and our clients.
You enjoy working in a team.
