About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations
Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication
Prepare evaluation reports, construction documents, and project proposals
Represent Sense Engineering at client meetings and networking functions
Represent Sense Engineering professionally and build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
Enhance technical expertise and stay current on industry trends and best practices
Take ownership of work and focus on providing solutions
Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset
Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Client-centric mindset
Team player eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives
Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required
