About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations
- Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication
- Prepare evaluation reports, construction documents, and project proposals
- Represent Sense Engineering at client meetings and networking functions
- Represent Sense Engineering professionally and build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Enhance technical expertise and stay current on industry trends and best practices
- Take ownership of work and focus on providing solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset
- Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Client-centric mindset
- Team player eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required
