About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and collaborate with Project Managers and Principals on a variety of capital planning projects.
- Perform site assessments and prepare technical reports, including Depreciation Reports, Warranty Reviews, and Building/Property Condition Assessments.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to support efficient and timely project delivery.
- Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
- Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset.
- Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset.
- Team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required.
