About the role

  • Design, develop and optimize scalable data pipelines.
  • Implement and maintain data ingestion, transformation and loading flows (ETL/ELT).
  • Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to orchestrate pipelines.
  • Develop solutions using Azure Databricks (Spark).
  • Implement best practices for versioning and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
  • Manage data governance and access control via Unity Catalog.
  • Structure environments (Dev, QA, Prod) following best practices.
  • Ensure data quality, performance and security.
  • Support architectural decisions and platform evolution for the data platform.
  • Collaborate with business areas and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
  • Extensive work experience in Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Practical experience with:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Databricks
  • Spark (PySpark or Scala)
  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD, Repos, Pipelines)
  • Unity Catalog (or equivalent governance tools)
  • Experience with Data Lake and modern data architecture.
  • Knowledge of data modeling.
  • Experience with code versioning (Git).
  • Experience with production environments and structured processes.
