About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and production support.
- Troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development and deployment.

Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2
- Experience with VSAM, IMS, and TSO/ISPF
- Knowledge of Mainframe utilities such as IDCAMS, SORT, and File Manager
- Experience in batch processing and online transaction processing
- Familiarity with version control and change management tools such as Endevor or Changeman
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
