About the role
- You will work on the development of a modern social intranet solution.
- Together with your team, you will design and implement user stories in Java.
- You will support the team in further automating and improving our build, test, and release processes.
- You will develop automated tests to ensure code quality.
- You will conduct code reviews within the team and work in pair-programming sessions to improve quality and share knowledge.
- You will continuously evolve our frontend stack, propose new ideas, and regularly review existing solutions for potential improvements.
Requirements
- A completed degree or comparable qualification in computer science
- Strong experience developing applications in Java using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot (or similar) and tools like Jenkins and Git
- Practical experience with modern component-based JavaScript technologies such as React, Vue, or Angular, ideally with TypeScript
- Confident handling of HTML and CSS, including accessibility (a11y)
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing using frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
- Enthusiasm for agile working and motivation to continuously engage with new technologies and trends
- Very good German language skills (min. C1)
