About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, monitor, and maintain existing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless networks, and related hardware.
- Support the daily operation and performance of corporate network environments.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco networking equipment using Cisco CLI.
- Administer and support Cisco Meraki network solutions, including wireless access points, switches, and security appliances.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
- Troubleshoot network outages, performance issues, and connectivity problems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the Help Desk team to resolve escalated networking-related incidents and service requests.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
- Assist with implementing network security best practices and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Participate in on-site support activities and travel as needed for network deployments, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of professional experience in network administration or network support.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and Cisco CLI.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki solutions.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networking concepts.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
