About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a Java Developer on projects for a large bank
Develop modern, scalable, high-impact digital solutions
Work with Java 21+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA/Hibernate and Maven/Gradle
Implement unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito and AssertJ
Use SonarQube and JaCoCo for code quality and coverage
Develop and integrate solutions using Azure services
Design and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures
Work with Kafka/RabbitMQ and API Gateway
Apply Design Patterns, Hexagonal Architecture and Clean Architecture
Work with relational and NoSQL databases
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Repos, security and observability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Java 21+
Knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
Knowledge of JPA and Hibernate
Knowledge of Maven or Gradle
Experience with JUnit, Mockito and AssertJ
Experience with unit and integration testing
Knowledge of SonarQube and JaCoCo
Knowledge of Azure App Service and Azure Kubernetes Service
Knowledge of Azure Functions
Knowledge of Azure Event Hubs and Service Bus
Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage and Azure Key Vault
Knowledge of Azure DevOps
Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ
Knowledge of API Gateway and Design Patterns
Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture or Clean Architecture
Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Oracle
