About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Expedite the Customer Service claims application process
  • Ensure correct case assignment
  • Act as a customer liaison to help customers reach the correct contact person
  • Handle USA and Latin American customers
  • Assign new claims to the appropriate claims handler
  • Enter verbal and written application information accurately into the claims management system
  • Contact customers by telephone, written correspondence, and/or the claims system regarding required documentation, time frames, and claim status
  • Communicate clearly and professionally regarding all aspects of the claims process
  • Participate in and maintain a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team
  • Serve as a cross-trained resource supporting multiple functions or departments as operational needs require
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–2 years of office experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Literate in English and able to read and communicate effectively in a professional setting
  • Bilingual Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese customer service capability
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
  • Attendance during scheduled work hours is required
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
