About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to claims staff
- Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system
- Input and review notes and diaries in the claims management system
- Process payments
- Process mail and handle filing, faxing, and photocopying
- Review, prepare, create, and/or send letters, reports, and forms
- Answer and initiate telephone calls
- Set up medical appointments
- Provide customer service as required
- Complete assigned activities and projects, including preparing and distributing computer reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
- Clear and conceptual thinking ability
- Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion
- Ability to handle work-related stress
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Computer keyboarding ability
- Hearing, vision, and talking abilities
