Absence Management Payroll Coordinator
SedgwickPayroll Coordinator processing payroll actions based on changes in leave status and ensuring data integrity for high-quality customer service delivery. Supporting internal and external clients in absence administration.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process payroll actions based on changes in leave status
- Ensure the accurate and timely entry of data
- Support delivery of high-quality customer service as a point of contact for internal and external customers and clients
- Ensure data integrity by accurately interpreting leave and disability claims data coding hierarchy and applying the correct leave and disability codes into the payroll and time and attendance system
- Review reports for claim accuracy; process and balance colleague time card file based on client's paid time off policy
- Respond to inquiries from Human Resources and internal business partners regarding plan provisions and administrative procedures
- Assist department in evaluating results of absence programs and best practices in absence administration
- Assist management with special projects as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with business or computer related courses from an accredited university or college preferred
- Two (2) years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Human Resources/Payroll experience preferred
- Working knowledge of leave of absence, workers' compensation, and disability leave regulations
- Oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
