About the role
- To analyze mid- and higher-level general liability claims to determine benefits due.
- Ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices.
- Identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
- Independently manages mid‑level general liability claims from initial evaluation through resolution.
- Evaluates coverage, determines benefits due, and executes claim action plans in accordance with client contracts.
- Oversees subrogation efforts by identifying recovery opportunities and negotiating favorable outcomes.
- Maintains clear, consistent communication with claimants and clients to provide status updates and explain claim decisions.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
- General Liability and Bodily injury experience preferred.
- Licensing: TX/FL preferred.
- Jurisdiction Knowledge: 18 states within the eastern and south eastern region.
