About the role
- To identify and resolve areas of concern regarding technical file handling skills
- Provide relevant legislative, regulatory, precedential case law information and carrier requirements and training
- Serve as workers’ compensation technical resource
- Research technical questions/issues involving workers compensation matters
- Provides communication to colleagues relative to jurisdictional changes and carrier requirements
- Coordinates state experts ensuring state sites are up to date and experts are current
- Identifies jurisdictional issues and develops and implements action plans
- Handles carrier and client technical issues as assigned
- Supports and provides assistance for company initiatives
- Assists with EDI issues as needed
- Works with management in designing training modules and in scheduling training
- Prepares training outline; delivers training to units; and monitors/reports training compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Supports the organization's quality program(s)
- Travels as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Professional designation or equivalency such as AIC, CPCU or ARM preferred
- Eight (8) years' experience in project management or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience managing national initiates strongly preferred
- Training experience preferred
