About the role
- Manage complex high-exposure general liability claims.
- Review medical treatment records associated with general liability, bodily injury auto and personal injury claims.
- Analyze for damages and causation and ensure RNC's performance is within company guidelines.
- Supervise day-to-day activities of RNC-L’s ensuring quality of investigative reports.
- Train, coach, and develop skills of assigned RNC-L’s.
- Prepare in-depth medical chronology reports summarizing medical records; provide analysis and recommendations for claims handling.
- Create working chronology including research on causation and damages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Current valid RN license required.
- Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) Certification or training highly preferred.
- Six (6) years of related clinical nursing experience.
- Two (2) years nurse consultant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- General or professional liability investigation related training with specialty experience with bodily injuries claims, auto accident related claims and/or slip, trip and fall claims preferred.
