About the role

  • Lead, coordinate and manage the department's administrative team
  • Oversee the implementation of procedures defined by management and/or national business managers
  • Ensure these procedures are understood by the team
  • Ensure the quality of service delivered to our clients and internally
  • Manage complaints and monitor performance indicators
  • Ensure the productivity of administrative teams
  • Work closely with the service director and unit managers to develop and grow the service
  • Support and develop the team and secure their buy-in for projects
  • Report any difficulties or malfunctions to the service director

Requirements

  • At least an Associate degree (Bac+2) or equivalent
  • 2–3 years' significant experience in an insurance expertise/adjustment firm
  • Ability to lead a team and empower its members
  • Ability to build trusting relationships internally and with client insurers
  • Knowledge of construction claims/expertise and the legal aspects of the field
  • Knowledge of dommages-ouvrage (construction defect/warranty insurance)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to synthesize information and proactively propose solutions
  • Adherence to processes
  • Ability to manage urgent and high-pressure situations
  • Autonomy and ability to work independently
