About the role
- You will strengthen our claims handling team in motor vehicle liability — handling both property and personal injury claims.
- Proactively settle claims to reduce claims costs.
- Demonstrate empathetic and confident negotiation skills when dealing with claimants, attorneys, and other parties.
- Establish and monitor claim reserves.
- Review and enforce subrogation/recourse claims.
- Support and oversee court proceedings.
- After a structured onboarding, independently take responsibility for handling your cases.
Requirements
- Completed training as a lawyer (jurist) or insurance clerk, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Proven practical experience in claims handling at an insurer or claims adjusting office.
- Enjoy working independently.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and common everyday software.
- Strong negotiation skills when dealing with diverse parties.
- Interest in shaping the digital transformation of claims handling.
- English language skills are an advantage.
