About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake, Coalesce, Fivetran, and AWS services
- Implement ELT processes following DTS's Extract-Load-Transform architecture pattern and Snowflake-First principles
- Build and maintain Snowflake-native transformations, data marts, and analytics-ready datasets
- Ensure data quality through validation logic, monitoring, automated testing, and alerting
- Collaborate with Data Architects to implement designs aligned with platform standards
- Document pipelines with data flow diagrams, source-to-target maps, and transformation logic in Confluence
- Support legacy MS SQL Server and SSIS data operations during migration and help repoint reports to Snowflake
- Participate in the on-call rotation for data platform operations
- Follow DTS ACUMEN onboarding standards when integrating new data sources
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 2–4 years of data engineering experience
- Strong SQL proficiency, including complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
- Familiarity with Coalesce, dbt, Fivetran, or comparable ELT/pipeline tools
- Working knowledge of AWS data services, including S3, Glue, and Lambda
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
