About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake, Coalesce, Fivetran, and AWS services
Implement ELT processes following DTS's Extract-Load-Transform architecture pattern and Snowflake-First principles
Build and maintain Snowflake-native transformations, data marts, and analytics-ready datasets
Ensure data quality through validation logic, monitoring, automated testing, and alerting
Collaborate with Data Architects to implement designs aligned with platform standards
Document pipelines with data flow diagrams, source-to-target maps, and transformation logic in Confluence
Support legacy MS SQL Server and SSIS data operations during migration and help repoint reports to Snowflake
Participate in the on-call rotation for data platform operations
Follow DTS ACUMEN onboarding standards when integrating new data sources

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
2–4 years of data engineering experience
Strong SQL proficiency, including complex queries and performance tuning
Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
Familiarity with Coalesce, dbt, Fivetran, or comparable ELT/pipeline tools
Working knowledge of AWS data services, including S3, Glue, and Lambda
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
