About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead modeling of Life and critical illness products in Moody’s AXIS;
  • Assess profitability and risks to support pricing decisions for new and existing products;
  • Perform in-depth analyses to support assumption setting, provide recommendations on product design, and evaluate product initiatives;
  • Design and enhance tools to optimize and automate pricing processes;
  • Ensure pricing methodologies comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Improve pricing process efficiency to meet business objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 5 years of actuarial experience, including Life pricing experience;
  • Strong proficiency in Moody’s AXIS;
  • ASA/ACIA designation (or in progress toward Fellowship);
  • Knowledge of IFRS 17 (conversion experience is an asset);
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and drive them to completion;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into actionable recommendations;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
