About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and development of the SecureFlag backend platform.
Maintenance and enhancement of the existing platform.
Development and maintenance of automated tests and CI pipelines.
Work closely with the engineering team.
Track, reproduce, troubleshoot, and provide logical solutions to issues.
Operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, small team environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of hands-on experience in developing complex applications in Java.
In-depth knowledge of Hibernate with troubleshooting skills in identifying and solving performance bottlenecks.
Competency in understanding and improving large pattern-based and scalable Java applications based on microservices.
Competency in identifying independently the code areas that require improvements and implementation of new functionalities.
Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Docker, and CI pipelines.
Familiarity with microservices architecture based on Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS).
Experience in implementing automated testing is a plus.
Good English language skills.
Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with colleagues and management.
Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
