Key responsibilities & impact

Build and operate central systems in SEB’s critical payment platform
Shape and operate business-critical database systems for millions of transactions
Solve complex database challenges
Optimize critical database workloads and manage performance
Ensure database environments and supporting infrastructure are robust, scalable and highly available
Take ownership of database solutions supporting the payment platform
Provide expert database support to development teams
Contribute to the continuous evolution of the payment platform
Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure specialists and database developers in Örebro, Stockholm and Vilnius
Work closely with development teams across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive skills in MS SQL Server
Experience in SQL optimization and performance management
Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex systems
Good communication skills and fluency in English
Self-driven and organized work ethic with a curious and open mindset
Experience with database projects, partitioning and AlwaysOn is meriting
Experience using LLMs as part of the development workflow, professionally or through personal projects
