About the role
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in security projects and initiatives across the bank.
- Work hands-on with technical security while driving improvements and implementing new services.
- Contribute to the continuous development of operational security capabilities — including penetration testing, vulnerability management, incident response/CTI, and security engineering.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate findings into actionable advice.
Requirements
- A background in hands-on security work — from scripting and building to operating, analyzing and troubleshooting.
- Fluency in English and Swedish.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and monitoring tools.
- A solid understanding of common attack vectors, security vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM/SOAR, network security solutions, and endpoint detection and response (XDR) systems.
- Practical experience in security incident handling, analysis, and response.
- The ability to translate technical findings into clear and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive mindset with strong ownership, a commitment to continuous improvement, and experience in driving initiatives and delivering presentations.
