About the role

  • Join SEB’s Financial Crime Prevention team as a Senior Java Developer and help stop fraud before it happens.
  • You'll work with modern tech like Java, Kafka, OpenShift, and Spark to build powerful, smart solutions that protect both our customers and society.
  • From requirements to decommissioning, you’ll tackle meaningful challenges in a collaborative, agile environment across Sweden and the Baltics.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
  • Proven skills in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Helm.
  • Familiarity with in-memory databases like Redis is a plus.
  • Experience with streaming and processing technologies such as Kafka and Spark is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and ECK.
  • Front-End experience is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • A passion for solving problems, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • A flexible, positive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and team collaboration.
  • Experience working in agile environments, ideally within the SAFe framework.
