About the role

  • Planning, designing, and executing performance and load tests for applications and integrations.
  • Setting up and maintaining test environments, test data, tools, and measurement methods.
  • Analysing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with architects, development teams and operations
  • Establishing routines and guidelines for performance testing

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in performance and load testing in large IT environments with backend running on Mainframe.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter
  • Experience in analyzing results using logs and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk or Grafana
  • Understanding of networks, databases (SQL), APIs, mainframe and batches
  • Basic knowledge of a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Bash)
  • Strong knowledge of the banking or insurance sector is meritorious
