Consultant Neurologist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- - Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and examinations
- - Order and interpret a range of diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, EEG, and EMG
- - Diagnose and manage neurological disorders such as strokes, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and neurodegenerative conditions
- - Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans
- - Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognoses
- - Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- - Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- - Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
Requirements
What you’ll need- - Proven experience in a consultant neurologist role, preferably within the private healthcare sector
- - Excellent clinical knowledge of a broad range of neurological disorders and treatments
- - Proficiency in interpreting neurodiagnostic tests and imaging
- - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- - Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- - Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- - Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic health records
- - Dedication to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
