About the role
- Provide specialized neonatal care in the Government Hospital’s NICU and other relevant units.
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and manage complex neonatal cases effectively.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Carry out necessary neonatal procedures and interventions with precision and care.
- Collaborate closely with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and continuous care.
- Maintain clear and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Offer support, education, and counseling to families regarding their newborn’s condition and treatment.
- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a hospital-based neonatal intensive care unit.
- Strong clinical expertise in managing high-risk neonates and performing complex neonatal procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a government hospital environment with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Proficient in documentation, compliance, and hospital protocols.
