About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct comprehensive, site-wide safety and health risk assessments
  • Promote and enforce construction site and plant safety compliance
  • Lead investigations of recordable injuries and high-risk incidents
  • Prepare incident investigation reports and track corrective actions
  • Support and enhance client safety culture
  • Develop and implement safety auditing and inspection processes
  • Perform routine audits of facilities and work practices
  • Conduct annual safety risk assessments
  • Oversee and administer contractor safety programs
  • Maintain OSHA logs and compliance with recordkeeping requirements
  • Execute and coordinate required safety training programs
  • Provide on-site medical response services
  • Coordinate local case management activities
  • Maintain and update facility safety policies as part of an IIPP
  • Champion SCT's 4E's philosophy throughout client organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of three to five years of hands-on EHS experience in construction
  • OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications
  • CPR, AED and First Aid certifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable ANSI, NIOSH, ACGIH, and NFPA standards
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time for long stretches
  • Valid driver's license required
