About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Scottish Water’s group reporting requirements
- Prepare and review management information and regulatory reporting
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts
- Support audit processes and provide technical accounting input
- Prepare and review forecasts and budgets
- Analyze key assumptions and variances for decision-making

Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience in financial reporting within a complex organisation
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or FReM
- Experience in preparing or supporting statutory accounts and audit processes
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, control and compliance
- Ability to analyse complex issues and communicate clearly
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong Excel skills with large datasets and automation techniques
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
