About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage procurement activities, including tendering processes, supplier selection and contract awards
- Support effective management of purchase orders and supplier contracts
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure excellent service, value and ethical performance
- Review supplier performance against agreed KPIs, service levels and sustainability standards
- Identify cost savings, efficiency improvements and risk mitigation opportunities through procurement analysis
- Produce reports and insights demonstrating procurement performance and organisational impact
- Support supplier evaluation processes, including ESG factors
- Help ensure procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, policies and best practice
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation on procurement-related projects and initiatives
- Maintain accurate procurement procedures and documentation
