About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the strategy, growth, and delivery of Scott Logic’s data-related services
Define the vision and roadmap for the data practice
Develop service offerings including data platform design, data governance, and advanced analytics
Support pre-sales by understanding customer needs, defining engagements and proposals, and helping win new work
Lead and build a team of data specialists
Establish best practices and drive a culture of innovation
Act as a strategic advisor to customers
Help customers shape data solutions, develop strategies and roadmaps, and deliver value
Develop internal playbooks and repeatable methods
Build accelerators with colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in data consulting or a related data role
2+ years of experience in a company with strong data consulting services
Experience driving the full data lifecycle, from strategy and design through scale-out and delivery
Deep knowledge of Data Strategy, Data Platforms, Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, Traditional Data Science, AI/ML, Data Governance, and Cloud Technologies
Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS
Positive, can-do attitude, growth mindset, natural curiosity, and bias for action
Experience designing and building Databricks solutions (nice to have)
Expertise in human-in-the-loop experiences and natural-language data interfaces (nice to have)
