Operational Installation Engineer
Science me UpOperational Engineer responsible for installing mechatronic systems in a biotech company. Collaborating with clients across Europe to ensure system deployment and continuous improvement.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, install, and commission systems at client sites (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, validation, troubleshooting, user training)
- Act as the technical liaison between customers and the R&D team
- Provide post-installation technical support
- Propose and implement system improvements
- Contribute to mechatronic design: adapt subsystems and drive continuous improvement based on field feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or fluidic systems (or equivalent)
- Proven experience (2–5 years) in installation, commissioning, or field support
- Proficient with fluidic systems (HPLC-style tubing, instrumentation)
- Overall understanding of complete mechatronic systems
- Comfortable with automated systems
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA or equivalent)
- Fluent English (for international clients and colleagues)
