About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and providers
Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures
Assist providers with recording treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations, and procedures
Understand patient flow and anticipate providers’ next steps
Prepare rooms before and after patients and check equipment at the beginning of each shift
Scan retail, cosmetic products, and medical supplies daily and report low supplies
Perform inventory and stock supplies and equipment as requested
Attend in-house training and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Open to candidates with no experience who have an interest in healthcare
Teamwork experience
Detail-oriented
Flexible schedule
Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays
Open availability during weekdays and weekends
Dermatology experience preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Excellent patient relations and customer service skills
