About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute all front office duties and provide support to patients, providers, and support staff
  • Handle incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable fashion
  • Create a positive phone call experience for each caller
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and providers
  • Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate providers’ next steps
  • Perform inventory responsibilities and stock supplies and equipment as requested
  • Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Open to no experience; interest in healthcare, teamwork experience, detail-oriented, and flexible schedule
  • Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00a–7:30p
  • Open flexibility to help cover in a team environment
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Medical receptionist experience preferred
  • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
  • Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent patient relations and customer service skills
  • Professional, reliable, and dedicated
  • Prior experience working in a dermatology/medical environment preferred
  • Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends
