About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Full-Time Lead Medical Assistant at our Princeton and Somerset Offices.
  • Provides administrative support to Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants/LPNs by way of supervision and staff development.
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider.
  • Lead by example, maintains office presence and highest level of professionalism.
  • Maintain effective and constructive communication with office management to instill company values, vision, and protocols.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all standard operating protocol and policies that pertain to the clinical department.
  • Proficient in pre-care and post-care treatment instructions.
  • Assist the physician in medical, cosmetic, allergy, and/or laser procedures.
  • Prep exam rooms for all procedures and properly clean exam rooms after every visit.
  • Assist Office Management in successfully running the day-to-day clinical operations of their respective location by providing supervision and evaluation of day-to-day duties.
  • Ensure that all assigned Medical Assistants/LPNs follow company policies and protocols.
  • Consistently maintain an adequate amount of medical supplies by executing weekly inventory counts and placing orders as needed.
  • Work with Office Management to audit consumable tracker and laser logs on a weekly basis.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 - 3 years of experience working in a dermatology/medical environment preferred.
  • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
  • Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
  • Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.
  • Must have strong critical thinking, problem resolution skills and be a great multitasker.
  • Prefer prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment.
  • Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.
