About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the design and development of a brand new Secrets Manager product for our STACKIT distributed cloud offering
- Work on a digital-sovereign European cloud provider, following the highest security, scalability and reliability standards
- Help deliver a scalable, secure, and stable product to customers
- Continuously automate and optimize all technical processes
- Conduct problem and error analyses and identify sustainable solutions
- Be part of the NeoNephos CNCF organization: the largest EU open source community for cloud computing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced developer with expertise in Golang
- Comprehensive understanding of cryptographic protocols and standards at scale - such as SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP, X.509
- Good knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (such as AES or RSA)
- Proficiency in developing and deploying software with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
- Good understanding of virtualization frameworks such as KubeVirt, KVM
- Experience developing Kubernetes operators and familiar with their architecture
- Deep knowledge of the Cloud Native landscape, specifically components within the CNCF ecosystem
- Skilled in interface and communication technologies such as REST, gRPC, etc.
- Hands-on problem solver with a solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of OpenBao, and familiarity with Vault, Talos, Cilium are considered a plus
