About the role

  • Develop and maintain backend microservices serving Kaufland stores in Europe
  • Regularly enhance the overall software quality and implement good practices
  • Creating clean, well-documented, maintainable code with high test coverage
  • Supporting our agile development team in designing, creating and implementing software solutions in an agile way (Scrum/Kanban)

Requirements

  • Successfully finished computer science studies or a comparable professional education
  • Backend development knowledge (Development and Testing, Operations and Security, etc.)
  • Working experience with any Java/Kotlin BE frameworks (at least 5 years)
  • Working experience with any non-relational database (at least 3 years)
  • Working experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Working experience with Angular JS + Typescript or other comparable web frameworks
  • Strong English verbal and written skills
