About the role
- Solicit new personal and commercial business via telephone, networking and through your own centers of insurance.
- Prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing business.
- Quote, bind, and underwrite all new and renewal applications.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Understand their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of policies to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell insurance products to existing clients.
- Engage with new and existing clients to understand their needs and advise them on policy features and coverage.
- Manage renewals and retention to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with quotes.
- Maintain strong business relationships and deliver excellent client service.
Requirements
- Active 2-20 ; 4-40 or 20-44 license required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 2+ years insurance sales and service experience.
- Confidence in prospecting, networking, and closing business.
- Proficiency with agency management software and quoting systems.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration.
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and market trends.
