About the role

  • Solicit new personal and commercial business via telephone, networking and through your own centers of insurance.
  • Prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing business.
  • Quote, bind, and underwrite all new and renewal applications.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Understand their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of policies to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell insurance products to existing clients.
  • Engage with new and existing clients to understand their needs and advise them on policy features and coverage.
  • Manage renewals and retention to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with quotes.
  • Maintain strong business relationships and deliver excellent client service.

Requirements

  • Active 2-20 ; 4-40 or 20-44 license required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 2+ years insurance sales and service experience.
  • Confidence in prospecting, networking, and closing business.
  • Proficiency with agency management software and quoting systems.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and market trends.
