About the role

  • Planning and programming as well as implementing changes in automation and process control systems
  • Using your expertise to plan, assess and execute control-system renewal and modernization measures
  • Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality of assigned projects
  • Developing concepts for technical innovations in process control systems
  • Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative ideas
  • Supporting troubleshooting and condition analysis of technical equipment (2nd level support)
  • Participation in the continuous on-call service

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology or equivalent qualifications acquired by other means
  • Solid experience programming PLCs including visualization – preferably Siemens Simatic
  • Professional experience managing technical projects with a focus on quality, schedules and budgets
  • Experience working across departments and strong teamwork skills
  • High level of initiative and commitment as well as an independent and structured way of working
  • Driving license class B
  • Nice to have: experience with power plant automation and documentation (KKS)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in information security
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety and safety regulations
