About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently handle the company's complete financial accounting using digital solutions
- Manage payment transactions, open-item accounting and dunning
- Prepare travel expense reports for the management and review travel expense claims from employees
- Prepare the annual financial statements in close coordination with the management
- Act as the interface between financial accounting and payroll for inquiries and reconciliations
- Correspond with insurers and professional associations and prepare various statistical reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial vocational training with a focus on financial accounting or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB)
- Confident user of DATEV and MS Excel; openness to digitized, automated processes and enthusiasm for using AI tools
- Structured, reliable and meticulous working style with a strong sense of responsibility
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, digital environment and willingness to adapt flexibly to new challenges
