About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently handle the company's complete financial accounting using digital solutions
  • Manage payment transactions, open-item accounting and dunning
  • Prepare travel expense reports for the management and review travel expense claims from employees
  • Prepare the annual financial statements in close coordination with the management
  • Act as the interface between financial accounting and payroll for inquiries and reconciliations
  • Correspond with insurers and professional associations and prepare various statistical reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial vocational training with a focus on financial accounting or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB)
  • Confident user of DATEV and MS Excel; openness to digitized, automated processes and enthusiasm for using AI tools
  • Structured, reliable and meticulous working style with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, digital environment and willingness to adapt flexibly to new challenges
