About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive performance management, planning, reporting and analysis
- Define and drive the group-level annual wheel - financial planning and reporting cycles: target setting, performance reviews, financial planning, outlooks and risk management
- Secure high-quality management reporting and financial analysis: decision-relevant reporting and actionable insights and presentations for top management and board
- Define, develop and maintain Group financial steering mechanisms, including KPI frameworks, target setting and intercompany steering
- Develop policies, guidelines and templates for forecasting, risk management and performance reporting, securing clear standards and consistent reporting across the Group
- Work closely with divisional FP&A, Finance BI and Finance Technology teams to develop Group-wide reporting, analysis and financial planning solutions that support financial governance and enable actionable insights
- Leverage AI and new technology to make processes scalable, efficient and automated enabling finance teams to spend more time on value-adding analysis
- Identify, contribute to, and drive initiatives to improve processes and increase automation and financial transparency across the finance organization
- Lead or contribute to strategic Group projects from a financial perspective and drive key improvement initiatives
- Serve as business partner to Heads of Group functions — providing financial insights, flagging risks and identifying performance improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain Group function cost plans; challenge assumptions and ensure rigor in planning and target-setting
- Build and maintain cost allocation models; drive ad hoc financial analysis and decision support
- Ensure cost control, financial governance and compliance within the Group function cost base
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience from FP&A or business controlling, ideally in a complex or multi-entity environment, or from management consulting in a similar field
- Strong P&L and balance sheet understanding - able to connect financial and strategic logic across the statements
- Highly analytical and structured
- Skilled at converting numbers and details into actionable, to-the-point insights and presentations for senior and board-level audiences
- Highly collaborative and strong business partnering skills
- High proficiency in excel, financial modelling, consolidation and BI/reporting tools
- A genuine interest in new technology and a strong drive to leverage AI and automation, making finance processes smarter and scalable
- Hands on and delivery-oriented - comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a matrix organization
- Strong sense of ownership, taking pride in the quality of deliverables and analysis
- Higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar
- Fluency in English and Norwegian or Swedish
