About the role
- You'll be working across the core backend systems powering Klart’s products.
- Design and build APIs and backend services used by web, mobile, and partner platforms
- Improve and evolve a cloud-native architecture on AWS
- Process and serve large volumes of weather and geospatial data
- Build systems that are fast, reliable, and scalable
- Take features from idea → prototype → production
- Improve observability, monitoring, and automated testing
- Work closely with product and other developers to solve technical challenges
- Influence on technical decisions, architecture, and product direction.
Requirements
- Have strong backend engineering experience (preferably at least 5-7 years)
- Have worked with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Are comfortable building and maintaining production APIs
- Have experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Write clean, maintainable code and care about quality and performance
- Enjoy solving complex technical problems together with other engineers
- Fluent in Swedish & English
- Experience with Go, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization is a strong advantage.
- Nice to have, but not required: Observability, monitoring, and automated testing
