About the role

  • Responsible editor: develop topic ideas and turn them into articles and other contributions
  • Coordinate internal review and approval processes
  • Advise internal departments and units on communications matters
  • Coordinate contact with external partners and service providers
  • Responsible for 360-degree communication and coordinating the dissemination of messages across all channels
  • Pitch topics to the media and oversee articles through to publication
  • Drive internal communication with the aim of connecting colleagues across different units.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Master’s or equivalent), ideally with a journalistic focus
  • Several years of professional experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism
  • Understanding of integrated communication, storytelling, and organizational positioning
  • Strategic thinking
  • Strong conceptual skills and sensitivity to different target audiences
  • Experience in communications for non-profit organizations, NGOs, or foundations
  • Interest in socio-political issues and personal alignment with the values of the Schöpflin Foundation
  • Excellent German language skills
  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken
  • Team player with the ability to independently advance topics
  • Creativity and strong communication skills
  • Solution-oriented, service-minded, and structured way of working
  • Willingness to attend regular on-site meetings.
