About the role
- Responsible editor: develop topic ideas and turn them into articles and other contributions
- Coordinate internal review and approval processes
- Advise internal departments and units on communications matters
- Coordinate contact with external partners and service providers
- Responsible for 360-degree communication and coordinating the dissemination of messages across all channels
- Pitch topics to the media and oversee articles through to publication
- Drive internal communication with the aim of connecting colleagues across different units.
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Master’s or equivalent), ideally with a journalistic focus
- Several years of professional experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism
- Understanding of integrated communication, storytelling, and organizational positioning
- Strategic thinking
- Strong conceptual skills and sensitivity to different target audiences
- Experience in communications for non-profit organizations, NGOs, or foundations
- Interest in socio-political issues and personal alignment with the values of the Schöpflin Foundation
- Excellent German language skills
- Very good English language skills, written and spoken
- Team player with the ability to independently advance topics
- Creativity and strong communication skills
- Solution-oriented, service-minded, and structured way of working
- Willingness to attend regular on-site meetings.
