About the role
- Conduct environmental assessments and safety evaluations of nuclear facilities
- Evaluate uranium mills and in situ uranium recovery facilities for environmental impacts
- Cite references of safety and environmental evaluations performed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
- At least 5 years of experience
- Experience in environmental assessments and safety evaluations of nuclear facilities for federal and/or state agencies
- Experience with evaluating these facilities for potential environmental impacts (hydrogeological, human health and safety, air quality, etc)
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Previous experience with various radiation codes, such as RESRAD, MicroShield, and MILDOS preferred
