About the role
- Develop and implement security concepts.
- Establish network segmentation, MFA and modern protection mechanisms.
- Assess and optimize security architectures in customer environments.
- Identify vulnerabilities and define concrete remediation measures.
- Support incident handling.
- Analyze events and logs and drive sustainable improvements.
- Operationalize security standards.
- Support patch and update processes and continuously strengthen the security posture.
- Advise customers.
- Explain risks clearly and develop practical, robust solutions.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience in firewall and network engineering (Build & Run).
- Solid understanding of modern networking and security concepts (segmentation, VPN, routing, zero-trust thinking).
- C1-level German (e.g., for workshops and client dialogs) and good English skills.
- Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of professional services projects.
- Nice-to-have: Vendor knowledge (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Aruba, Dell), Azure Networking, EDR/XDR, SIEM; relevant certifications or willingness to obtain them.
