About the role

  • Develop and implement security concepts.
  • Establish network segmentation, MFA and modern protection mechanisms.
  • Assess and optimize security architectures in customer environments.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and define concrete remediation measures.
  • Support incident handling.
  • Analyze events and logs and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Operationalize security standards.
  • Support patch and update processes and continuously strengthen the security posture.
  • Advise customers.
  • Explain risks clearly and develop practical, robust solutions.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience in firewall and network engineering (Build & Run).
  • Solid understanding of modern networking and security concepts (segmentation, VPN, routing, zero-trust thinking).
  • C1-level German (e.g., for workshops and client dialogs) and good English skills.
  • Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of professional services projects.
  • Nice-to-have: Vendor knowledge (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Aruba, Dell), Azure Networking, EDR/XDR, SIEM; relevant certifications or willingness to obtain them.
